Can the Heat complete the comeback?

The Miami Heat stole game 5 from the Los Angeles Lakers in a tight fashion beating the Lakers by 3 pushing the series to game six as the heat will look to comeback from their previously 3-1 deficit. Miami will need the same scoring mentality from star Jimmy Butler becoming unstoppable late in the 4th of game 5. Miami got huge production from shooting guard Duncan Robinson recording 26 points making 7 three-point shot. Miami is getting points from their role players, 6 of the 7 players who saw action on Friday put-up double-digit points, the Lakers finished with just 3 of their 9 players scoring over 10. The Heat need to continue their tough aggressive defense to stand an against Los Angeles. LeBron James played an almost perfect game putting up 40 points 13 rebounds 7 assists 3 steals as well as hitting 6 three pointers all while shooting 71% from the field. Other than big time games from LeBron James and Anthony Davis the Lakers did not get much from their role players, other than Caldwell-Pope who scored 16 points the three leading scorers combined for 86 of the Lakers 108. With both teams needing more to finish out the series which team has what it takes.

The Los Angeles Lakers will need big plays from players like Danny Green, Kyle Kuzma, Alex Caruso, and Rajon Rondo each have shown flashes this series but have not played well at times bringing the Lakers their role players are there to hit shots and that is not what they are getting from them. James and Davis have been doing as much as possible to keep the Lakers ahead but missed threes from role players is giving the Heat a chance to win the series. Giving credit where credit is due the Heat have given the Lakers a tough time facing aggressive strong defense. If the Lakers can outshoot the Heat, they will undoubtably win they’ll need to control the pace don’t allow the Heat to push the ball and find corner shooters limit them offensively control the game at your pace make plays and shoot the ball well if the game gets to gritty the Heat can steal it play at the pace best for the Lakers. LeBron needs to find his shooter early one must be making their shots no matter who it is find someone who can consistently hit shots making a shooting threat for the Heat to focus on. Los Angeles has everything it takes to win the NBA championship.

The Miami Heat need to win two in a row to beat out the Lakers and they have the underdog mindset playing with passion throughout the series being down two of their top guys they must continue their play especially the play of their leader Jimmy Butler coming back from down 3-1 is a hard feat against any team but will be even more difficult since they are playing LeBron James. The Heat have found success playing through their star while also knocking down open looks from their shooters Robinson, Herro and Crowder their defense has been top notch with much of that in thanks to Andre Igoudala, He has the finals experience to lead this team through the tough times which he has keeping a hand in the face of Anthony Davis shutting him down making the Lakers a lot easier to beat without production from Davis, Miami has a real shot to complete the comeback. The keys for a comeback are strong defense and max effort, you don’t have to outplay the Lakers you have to outwork them knock them down and finish them off, lastly limit the shooters for Los Angeles don’t let a shooter heat up or it will be very difficult to slow down the offence.

Taking everything into consideration the Heat will not be able to keep up their arduous work and play and come up short to the Lakers in game six without the intensity the Lakers will defeat sending the Heat home. The Heat need too much to go in their favor for an upset victory over an extraordinarily strong NBA team a team consisting of two of the best players in the world. The Los Angeles Lakers are your 2019-20 NBA champions.
